Hannan is a Partnership Specialist at Orbit Startups for India and MENA.

Hannan has worked with tech startups in the education and creator economy space. She was responsible for product growth, digital marketing, communications, and building and growing communities. Prior to joining the startup ecosystem, she worked on several research projects in food tech, innovation and sustainability. Her research focused on creating a sustainable business model for in-virto meat (cultured/lab-grown meat), researching how sustainable innovations in the coffee industry are changing the
supply chain, and potential sustainable solutions to reduce the carbon footprint on the university campus.

Hannan grew up in New Delhi, India. She is passionate about innovation, food and sustainability. She has always been interested in the role new innovations can play in building sustainable food systems and overall sustainable development. She holds a BA in Human Resource Management from Delhi University and an MSc in Global Strategy and Innovation Management from University of Leeds. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, travelling, making art and trying new cuisines.
