Scott Kronick has spent the past 35 years in public relations leadership roles in both the United States and throughout Asia. He has been living in Beijing for the past 25 years, and since 2014 he has been leading Ogilvy’s Public Relations business in Asia as President and Chief Executive Officer. Scott is currently China Chairman of the Page Society, the world’s leading professional association for senior public relations and corporate communications executives and educators.

Throughout his career Scott has served both multinational companies looking to build their businesses in China and throughout Asia, as well as Chinese and Asian firms looking to build their businesses globally. As well as advising corporate clients and entrepreneurs, Scott has provided senior counsel to various governmental bodies, including the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, which is a client today.

In recognition of his contribution to the industry, Scott has received a number of personal awards. Most notably, he was voted to the Global Power List by PR Week from 2014-16, and he was featured in Campaign Asia as one of a selected 11 Most Admired Agency Leaders in the region. He was also awarded a prestigious Individual Achievement Sabre by PRovoke Media, the leading trade publication for the public relations industry. In 2020 Ogilvy, Public Relations & Influence was named Agency of the Decade by PRovoke Media.

Given his deep China and communications experience, Scott is a frequent media commentator on trends in marketing communications, brand building, storytelling and market entry into China. He also published a light-hearted book on his professional and personal experiences in Greater China, entitled “The Lighter Side of China”.
