SAP.iO is SAP’s strategic business unit to incubate, accelerate and scale startup innovation. Early in 2022, SAP.iO Foundry Shanghai was looking for candidates for its Future of Work program and tapped Orbit Startups to scout for innovative technologies in the space. The program will provide technical and go-to-market support to help startups integrate with SAP SuccessFactors, accelerate their entry into SAP’s ecosystem, and scale through mentorship, demand generation, and opportunities to increase visibility with SAP customers.
Orbit’s enterprise sales team introduced SAP to several startups including Orbit-backed Neufast, which provides a multi-lingual debiased AI video interview solution. Neufast’s solution passes the Four-Fifths rule, which states that the selection ratio of a minority group should be at least four-fifths (80%) of the selection ratio of the majority group, with no adverse effect on gender. Its AI/ML evaluates person-job fit in 9 languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, Bahasa Indonesian, and Khmer—with German, French, and Spanish in the pipeline.
Neufast, co-founded by Agnes Wun, was selected as one of the 9 startups to participate in its SAP.iO Shanghai Future of Work Program, Spring 2022 Cohort. Since August 2022, Neufast’s multi-lingual debiased AI video interview solution has been integrated with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and listed on SAP® Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings.
As of July 2023, Neufast’s clients are achieving an 80% reduction in cost-per-hire. Some organizations that use Neufast’s HR technology include McDonald’s, Carlsberg, Crystal Group, Esquel, Tessellation, and Lensowheel to name a few.
