Abbe is responsible for communications and brand for Emerald and advises portfolio companies on communications, marketing, social media strategy, public relations and thought leadership. Before joining Emerald, Abbe was a communications consultant and counselor to CEOs and management teams on reputation and awareness. Previously she was Global Head of PR and Communications at Reuters, where she oversaw all aspects of Reuters external and internal communications, brand marketing, thought leadership and editorial live events. Before that she spent 10 years at The New York Times Company handling corporate, financial and internal communications. Abbe has also held communications roles at Barnes & Noble, Kraft Foods, the University of Miami School of Medicine, Vorhaus & Company and Rubenstein. Abbe is a graduate of Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the State University of New York at Albany.
