Brian Xin is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the global internet industry. He is the founder of Uptick Network, a business-grade Web3 infrastructure and ecosystem dedicated to real economy.

Before founding Uptick Network, Brian established StarryMedia, a company offering social media marketing, e-commerce, O2O, travel tech, and loyalty management platforms in the Web2 space. He has held pivotal roles in multiple successful ventures, including as CTO of Microsoft MSN China, where he led internet and social media projects. Additionally, he played significant roles in the growth of iKang, a healthcare
management company, and Linktone, a provider of wireless value-added services, where he served as CTO and Vice President of Technology, respectively. His contributions were instrumental in both companies achieving successful NASDAQ listings.

In 1999, Brian co-founded RivalWatch, an e-merchant competitive analysis service based in Silicon Valley, which was later acquired. He also worked at Cadence Design Systems as a consulting staff member, focusing on the development of OpenAccess databases for the EDA industry. Brian holds a BSEE and an MSEE from Tsinghua University. He is a senior member of the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club (TEEC) since 2005 and a founding member of TEEC’s Blockchain and Digital Economy Committee. From 2004 to 2005, he served as the President of the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Northern California.

With bases in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Silicon Valley, Brian is a strong advocate for decentralized technology and ecosystem development in the Web3 era.
