Campbell Mclean is the creator of Aomen.tv – an online video channel producing and distributing original short-form editorial content in Chinese.

He began his career in Hong Kong and has 30 years experience as a creative media producer. He was a pioneer in the use of interactive video and in 1988 produced the world’s first interactive video driven by a knowledge-based expert system, and the first interactive point-of-sale video to appear in Hong Kong.

He was one of the first producers to break into the lucrative Korean advertising market, producing large budget TV commercials on location in Australia and New Zealand. In 1999 he returned to Hong Kong as executive producer for Moviola Productions, followed by Asia Pacific Vision (APV) producing creative work for many of the regions top Fortune 500 companies.

Mclean posted his first series of online editorial video reports on YouTube in 2006 and launched the Aomen.tv video website in 2007. He has a keen interest in creative technologies and is quick to trial social media applications for new methods of storytelling.

Mclean has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and has served as a Board Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
