Chander’s last venture backed startup was Zmanda – a pioneer in cloud storage. Zmanda was acquired by Carbonite – A NASDAQ Company (subsequently acquired by Open Text). Chander founded and led Zmanda until it’s acquisition. This adventure included raising Series C in the middle of the global financial crisis.

He has also found successful companies in the areas of open source software services and consumer web.

Chander provides advisory services to selected investors and startups related to consumer focused apps or the overall software stack.
