Jason Chang is Partner at Ace Capital Ventures. Previously, he was the Regional Head for National Sales/Business Development in Groupon Asia, where he oversaw client management, strategic sales, partnerships, and growth for Groupon’s top merchants. He was leading the sales teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and has consistently achieved double digit year-on-year revenue growth since taking over the leadership and APAC role.
Prior to Groupon, Jason was in various management roles in marketing, consulting and operations for tech, advertising, media start-ups. Before coming back to Asia in 2001, Jason was involved in various Silicon Valley companies and start-ups, most notably, Cybersource where he was part of the team growing their product management, pre and post-sales engineering support. Cybersouce went IPO and was later acquired by VISA.
As an entrepreneur and advisor, Jason is passionate for startups that are disruptive; in general technology, fintech, biotech, app & mobile development, crowd funding, micro-financing and some brick & mortar franchise businesses in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and the United States.
