Douglas Corley is the Co-Founder of Stealth Startup and the Co-Founder & CEO of Equity Health Foundation. Corley is a Beijing-based healthcare entrepreneur. He has 7 years combined as a researcher in PRC’s top biomedical labs and hospitals (CAS, 301 Hospital and PUMCH) and has been nominated to UNDP Greater China Innovation Council. He serves as digital health and biotech advisor and mentor for investment groups and NGOs: Endeavor Global, Antler, Schwarzman Scholars. Corley grew up in Omaha, and was educated at Creighton University. After graduating in 2010 with a double degree in biomedical science and analytic philosophy, he moved to China to work on basic science research in Beijing. Additionally, he is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community, Expert Network as well as participant in WEF’s Precision Medicine Initiative as well as the Druid Collective. He is a sought-after healthcare speaker, having delivered keynotes in more than 10 countries in the second half of 2019.

He is the CEO and Founder of DHB Global, a biotech commercialization platform focused on bringing innovative healthcare solutions to their next stage of growth. In this capacity, the company has assisted companies from the United States as well as Europe land in China, raise capital, find commercial partners and build domestic facilities, with deal totaling more than $50M in 2019. Having a long-term vision for the region, DHB Global stands for “Dunhuang 敦煌” Bioinvest, because of it’s historic position in the ancient silk road for the exchange of all healthcare products. This region encompasses more than 60% the global population. He is also the CEO of Alaunius Technologies, a blockchain-powered health support platform that provides world-leading electronic health records and biomarker exchange to empower patients for the next generation of precision medicine. Built upon the Saito DLT protocol, a terbyte-level blockchain, Alaunius is able to handle entire libraries of genomic and clinical data in ways other EHRs cannot. Additionally, it is fully customizable for each hospital and is already solving a major health system problem in Latin America. It aims to solve economic issues for patients, trust issues for clinicians and data transparency issues with R&D stakeholders.

His capacity as a community member with World Economic Forum has seen him participate in roundtables bringing global healthcare leaders together in Beijing and built two global initiatives on health data and the future of Precision Medicine. He is currently engaged in co-authoring the first global health data white paper with WEF Experts. The Druid Collective is an initiative of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders (YGL) and Technology Pioneers dedicated to helping startups around the world to bring breakthrough science- and R&D from labs to real world impact.
