Andrew is the founder and CEO of Grata, a startup helping businesses run customer service on WeChat and other messaging platforms. Grata is a 500 Startups-backed company and was honored as Web in Travel’s 2013 Startup of the Year. Grata is his third venture in more than ten years in China. Between Grata and his second startup, GuestOps, Andrew has sold into most of the top hotel chains in the world including IHG, Marriott, Accor, Starwood, and Four Seasons.

Andrew’s favorite escape from work is running the hills around Beijing with the Hash House Harriers, though he wishes he had more time for travel. Andrew earned a bachelor degree in Politics and East Asian Studies from Washington & Lee University.
