Venture capital firm SOSV has revealed the nine startups in the latest cohort of its Orbit Startups program, which targets emerging tech. Each participant received an initial funding of US$180,000.

Launched in 2022, Orbit focuses on growth and fundraising efforts. It encompasses SOSV’s Chinaccelerator and MOX programs, reflecting the latter two’s shifts to Southeast and South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Here are the nine startups in the latest batch:

Flashaid: An India-based retail health solution offering insurance plans to provide health benefits and home care services that are 70% cheaper than traditional retail options

Goka: A US-based company that helps brands and creators compete and increase loyalty through real-world-friendly Web3 assets and custom marketing solutions

Muta: A Colombia-headquartered tech-enhanced recycling company for waste management in Latin America
