Orbit Startups, an early-stage venture capital investor in emerging and growth markets, announced that it is deploying $60 million across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, MENA and Latin America.

Orbit Startups has already made key investments across multiple regions, showcasing its commitment to technology-driven innovation in emerging markets. Recent portfolio additions include:
- POGO (Morocco): Expanding access to digital financial services for underserved communities.
- Refurbi (Colombia): A sustainability-focused platform for refurbished electronics.
- iMotorbike (Malaysia, Vietnam): An online marketplace for pre-owned motorcycles.
- Seafood Factory (Egypt): A digital platform to help fish farmers sell directly to their customers and access financing solutions.
These investments reflect Orbit’s strategy of backing mission-driven founders with scalable business models aimed at creating economic opportunity across high-growth regions.
Orbit, led by Managing General Partners William Bao Bean and Oscar Ramos, launched the first continuously running startup accelerator in Asia in 2010 and now backs early stage founders around the world.
Orbit provides early stage startups the opportunity to work virtually and in-person with Orbit’s growth experts. Orbit makes initial capital investments of $100,000 to $180,000 and then supports with a lifetime program focused on sales generation, cross border market entry and fundraising. Orbit will invest in as many as 60 companies across nearly 30 growth markets worldwide in 2025.
